--What does the race and racing mean to you?--

Jackie Gudelhian: Hm...I've never really thought about it. No one thinks seriously about something that just is, do they?

Karl Lichter von Randoll: Someday, after I've stopped racing and a couple of years have passed, when I look back on all of it, I'll probably know.

Franz Heinel: If I hadn't become a driver, my life would probably be quite boring, I think.

Edelhi Bootsvorz: I don't know. After all, it's all I've ever done.

Naoki Shinjyo: It's everything, you could say. Maybe not later, but for now, at least.

Bleed Kaga: Not a clue. I don't know what the people watching think about it, but I like it. So I do it. That's it.

Hayato Kazami: I can't answer in one word. But then, who can?

(flashback to final race of 15th Cyber Formula Grand Prix. Hayato wins. Switch to that night, Hayato at the race track with Asurada. Asuka is there. Dawn comes. Flashback of their history. They kiss, and it changes into the victory photo of the Sugo racing team.)

Hayato Kazami: This year, I thought about a lot of different things. About the machine, and about the race. What "fighting" is, what "winning" is, and what "losing" is. There really were a lot of different things. Now, I think there's maybe one thing that I can say for certain. I will continue to race. Because that's who I am.
